In the fast-evolving clean energy space, trust and clarity are everything, especially when you're raising $25 million.
When Proteum Energy, a clean hydrogen technology startup, needed to position itself as investor-ready, I stepped in as a Content Strategist and Visual Designer to create a unified brand ecosystem across digital and investor channels.
The Challenge
Proteum Energy had cutting-edge tech, but their materials didn’t reflect the sophistication investors expect. There was no cohesive brand identity, no website, and no streamlined internal systems to support rapid collaboration.
Strategy: Communicate with Clarity and Confidence
To help Proteum Energy look and operate like the $25M company they were pitching to become, I:
Developed a modern brand identity to convey professionalism and innovation
Designed investor-grade pitch decks, aligning visuals with clean energy expectations
Built and launched their investor-facing website (UI/UX, design, and strategy)
Created branded collateral like business cards, letterhead, and templates
Trained their team to collaborate in real-time via Google Workspace
Translated technical content into investor-friendly, visual formats
Tools I Used
Wix, Squarespace, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Google Docs & Slides
Results
Helped support a $25M investor round with highly polished pitch materials
Delivered a consistent digital brand presence that aligned with their innovation story
Standardized internal workflows and content collaboration
Strengthened credibility with professional, investor-grade design
Takeaway
From building a website from scratch to crafting visuals for high-stakes pitch meetings, this project was about more than design, it was about building trust. Proteum Energy left with a brand presence that matched the ambition of its technology.
