Creating a Scalable Charter Club Framework for ABRA
The American Buckskin Registry Association (ABRA) relies on regional charter clubs to promote events, recruit members, and grow the buckskin breed community. Yet the process to start a club was unclear, no templates, no guidelines, and no defined expectations. This gap made it difficult for motivated members to form clubs and limited ABRA’s overall reach.
Objective
Build a simple, repeatable system that makes it easy for members to start, manage, and maintain an official charter club, providing the structure and resources they need to succeed.

Proteum Energy
Role: Content Strategist & Visual Designer
Duration: Sep 2021 – Apr 2022
Proteum Energy, a clean hydrogen technology startup, needed a cohesive digital and brand presence to support its upcoming $25M funding round. I stepped in as a content strategist, brand designer, and digital lead to unify their communications across investor-facing materials, internal collaboration tools, and digital channels. The goal was to establish a polished, professional identity that inspired investor confidence and internal clarity.
While bound by NDA for specific investor materials, the decks I designed helped prepare Proteum Energy for high-stakes presentations during a critical funding round. Small samples of public information is included.

ABRA Logo & Branding Refresh
American Buckskin Registry Association (ABRA) – Equestrian / Breed Registry
Role: Brand Designer & Logo Developer
Duration: 2017
In 2017, I was approached by then-President Gena Loper to rebrand and design a new logo for the ABRA. Having known me from the Pacific Northwest Quarter Horse breed circuit, Gena was familiar with my reputation as a prepared, competitive, and sportsmanlike competitor. The goal was to modernize ABRA’s decades-old logo while honoring its history as an affiliate of the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA).
