Proteum Energy

Role: Content Strategist & Visual Designer

Proteum Energy, a clean hydrogen technology startup, needed a cohesive digital and brand presence to support its upcoming $25M funding round. I stepped in as a content strategist, brand designer, and digital lead to unify their communications across investor-facing materials, internal collaboration tools, and digital channels. The goal was to establish a polished, professional identity that inspired investor confidence and internal clarity.


While bound by NDA for specific investor materials, the decks I designed helped prepare Proteum Energy for high-stakes presentations during a critical funding round. Small samples of public information is included.



Goals + Strategy


Challenge:


Proteum Energy lacked a unified brand system, investor-grade collateral, and collaborative workflows. Their digital presence didn’t yet reflect the scale of their ambitions or readiness for major funding.


Strategic Approach:
  • Develop and apply a consistent visual identity across all investor and internal materials.

  • Design and implement a user-friendly, modern website aligned with industry standards.

  • Enable real-time collaboration via Google Workspace to improve content iteration.

  • Support credibility and investor readiness through high-impact visual storytelling in pitch decks.


What I Did:
  • Designed multiple investor pitch decks, aligning layout, data visualization, and brand voice

  • Created a full brand kit: business cards, letterhead, iconography, and templates

  • Designed and launched a new investor-facing website (UI/UX, layout, and graphics)

  • Collaborated with a new dev team to implement my original website design on their platform

  • Built and managed a private portal for board-level communications

  • Trained staff on collaborative editing in Google Docs

  • Translated technical content into clear, visual communication tools

  • Designed all pitch deck visuals including graphs, tables, and layout strategy

CMS (Wix  and Squarspace) • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Ilustrator, InDesign • Google Docs / Slides


Results:
  • Enabled Proteum Energy to present a polished, unified brand identity for investor presentations

  • Collaborated with executive and web teams to preserve UX/UI consistency across platforms

  • Supported a $25M investor round with visually impactful, professional-grade pitch materials

  • Improved internal workflows by standardizing Google Docs usage for all content collaboration


Takeaway 

From building a website from scratch to designing investor materials that closed funding conversations, my role at Proteum Energy was all about clarity, consistency, and confidence in every piece of communication.
