Soft Skills
Please read about my top 5 soft skills that proudly make up me!
1
Growth Mindset
I love learning! It's my number one strength assessment on the Clifton Strengths assessment. It feels incredible to me to learn to learn new theories, facts, and processes. It is where I find my happy button. There isn't anything I can't figure out and learn. In my current position as Technical Campaign Manager - Email Marketing at DealerOn, I did not know any of the platforms the team uses to build and deploy emails. I had some familiarity with some WISWIG platforms, but that was it. Within six months, I mastered the new platforms, developed more robust, efficient processes, and spearheaded a new reporting system.
2
Problem-solving through critical thinking
My problem-solving skills, honed through critical thinking, enable me to tackle complex issues. I delve deep into the situation or objective, asking numerous questions to ensure a comprehensive understanding. I scrutinize for any limiting beliefs and rely on clear data to make informed decisions. Collaboration and considering multiple perspectives are integral to this process. I also remain adaptable and flexible, ready to embrace change when necessary, which should reassure you of my ability to handle unexpected situations.
3
Adaptability / Flexibility
I have incredible self-awareness of myself and others, which lends itself to adaptability and flexibility. I have a proven track record of adapting to life's constantly changing landscape. One of the best examples of this is my current position as a Technical Campaign Manager. When Sincro first hired me in the Email Marketing program at Sincro, there was a team of 8 people: 1 Manager over the team, 2 IT guys, 1 email builder, and 4 Marketing specialists (Technical Campaigns Managers. With the acquisition of Anisra, the team went from 8 people down to 2 within a 3-year time frame. The 2 people left are the Technical Campaigns Managers, and I am one of them. With the reduction of the team, I have had to take on being my own email builder, manager, and IT person, all while keeping my 20 accounts happy and satisfied. I have risen to the challenge as I always do and have grown personally and in my skill sets. I had to adapt and learn to work efficiently to keep up with my workload, learn new skills that my team once did, and hold myself accountable as my own Team Manager. Being adaptable is a current professional and personal theme in life, and I have many more examples I can share with you.
4
Creativity
My creativity comes in many ways, from design to idea generation. Being a professional Graphic Designer gives me a massive advantage over other marketing professionals. I can design and create all my graphic assets in a wide variety of file formats. I understand print and digital design and best practices for using each in their prospective marketing environment. Being a professional Graphic Designer gives me a huge advantage over other marketing professionals.
5
